Pink Cadillac (1989) Movie review – I found a bad Clint Eastwood movie…

So it was a relaxing sunday and I decided that I was in a mood for some tough talking Eastwood, after gazing over his work on IMDB I noticed the movie Pink cadillac and realised I had never seen it.

Excited with the prospect of watching a classic new Clint flick (for my eyes) created when I was 8 years old, this made me relaxed in the knowledge that its hard to find a bad Eastwood movie, well lucky me,I found a bad Clint Eastwood movie…

I have not seen him like this too often,he plays a bail bonds guy who pretends to be working for the radio and casinos as a form of catching his man,he tries to put on crazy voices and end ups looking like a bad actor.

Look out for the cameo by Jim Carey.

The bad guys in this movie are a cult who go by the name of birth right, they are in no way intimidating, more like a bunch if hicks bossed by a dwarf in a leather jacket who suffers from a sore throat, the acting by this group is shameful.

I am sure like me Clint would prefer it if this film was never made,in comparison to his other work it really struggles to shine a light.

4/10

  1. I’ll get in troub;e from some for saying this but I’d add multiple Oscar winner Million Dollar Baby and Trouble with the Curve. Both I thought were over done, tried too hard and generally tiresome. Less is more.
