Stitches (2012) Movie review – This comedy horror does not work, nice effort though.

There is something shite about movies made in the UK and Ireland, the production is instantly recognisable and instantly off-putting,that is how I felt after the first few minutes of this movie,I started to change my opinion when the movie moved into second gear.

Ross Noble is a decent comedian from Newcastle who puts in a decent performance in this film, the big problem is the mixed genre,I think it would have worked as a comedy or a horror, just not both !

The special effects are good in patches but then there are some really low-budget effects which bring you out of the movie and into a production that would be on par with Hollyoaks.

Nice effort but it’s a shame they did not identify what type of movie they were making.
