G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013) Movie review; Macho guns without any bullets

I am not a big fan of these type of movies to begin with so please keep that in mind, Bruce Willis throws in one of his five-minute appearances that he seems to do with every action movie of late, I like the Rock(Dwayne Johnson) but his Arnold impression kind of falls flat, every time he destroys the enemy he delivers a put down which just comes off as naff.

The relationship between Johnson and Channing becomes very camp at times.

As an action flick it does have its moments but in general I found myself turned off after thirty minutes.

Great for kids, not for adults.

4/10

  1. I never thought I would say this, but I think we should slow down with these big budget action movies. I can only handle so much CGI. Good review.
