The Company You Keep (2012) Movie review; Redford still has it but the film lacks suspense

This movie should have been great, a journalist smokes out a man in hiding who is wanted for a murder several decades earlier.

The beginning of the film is captivating and you think you are on to a winner, the story teases you into Redford being a sly old fox who is smarter than the rest, just when things start cooking the story just folds and the movie turns into something else,it feels like you get the foreplay, miss out on the sex and go straight to smoking the cigarettes, they really ruined what could have been a superb thriller.

Shia LaBeouf is convincing and is slowly turning the corner after his Transformer days.

Would love to hear what other people thought about this film…
