Mad Dog and Glory (1993) Movie review ; A very underrated movie* DE NIRO * BILL MURRAY*

It’s refreshing to see De Niro in a passive role,he expresses fear to great effect, not bad for a man who normally enforces it.

I never really watched a lot of David Caruso’s TV work but he impressed me a lot throughout this film, first time I saw him in Rambo he was barely shaving and now he is being intimidating and delivering killer speeches as a bad ass cop.

For any Bill Murray fans I would put this down as a must see,he plays a bad guy brilliantly, there seems to be something in funny actors, they can transfer their skills easily to dark characters,Bill is no exception.

Overall this movie is enjoyable and has a classy feel to it,the writer of this film(Richard Price) also had a hand in writing the smash hit ”The Wire” and ”The Colour of money”.

Great quote from the film ” If I ever had an intelligent thought it would die of loneliness”

7/10
